The Penguin Insuperable is a 2002 American superhero game animated comedy film based on the Coca Cola animated movie The Penguin and Me posted on YouTube. The film was co-written and directed by Rob Reiner and features the Untouchables' cast of Stuart Pankin, Jessica Walter, Jason Willinger, Sally Struthers, and Kevin Clash. The film also has new actors which include Alexandra Breckenridge, Loren Lester, Melissa Gilbert, Lou Albano, Seth MacFarlane, Alec Baldwin, Felix Masao Kimura, Scarlett Johansson, Robert De Niro, Alan Rickman, Aaron Paul, Terry Jones and Eminem (as Voorh33s), and is the first film in Total Drama Island film series.
In this film, Aloisio and Barbara found Nori's egg in a block, and the egg hatched, they landed on dolphins, which took them to Madagascar island. Nori wandered away, but Aloisio and Turbine Girl found him, just as caterpillars approached, Nori ate the caterpillars, just as Iceman and Marshall approached when Nori ate President Enterprise's robots, and took his key, just as the president of the Enterprises made his escape. Nori spits the key into the lock, freeing the Daffy Idle.
New toys from Amalgam Collectibles imagine Turbine Girl, Nori, Marshall, Daffy Idle, Iceman and Aloisio in his Robin outfit in the style of Batman: The Animated Series. The image, which Amalgam Collectibles posted on YouTube, Instagram and Facebook, reveals the figures. The toys were first shown at NY Toy Fair 2019, and it's unclear when they might be released and what their price points might be at this time. However, the post promises that more information will follow.
The film was widely promoted by Paramount and Amalgam Comics, with tie-in promotions made by 7-Eleven, the Cayman Islands, Burger King, and Amalgam Collectibles, which decorated various of its franchises with 9-foot and 6-inches (2.7 m) The Penguin Insuperable inflatable figures. The film was released on November 29, 2002, grossing $141 million worldwide, and received generally positive reviews from critics. Two sequels titled The Penguin versus the Evil Blue Mater was released in 2004, The Penguin Breaks the Looney Tunes was released in 2006 and a sequel titled The Seals' Most Wanted is scheduled for release in 2008.
